Foundry Steak & Ale Pie


Steak & Ale Pie

Fully prepared and ready to cook.  Certified Angus beef braised in ale.  Wrapped in two types of pastry, suet for the bottom and flakey puff pastry for the top. 

Cooking: Lightly egg wash top with egg yolk and a tiny splash of milk, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and bake in a 340f oven for 40 minutes until deep golden brown on top and hot in the center.

Portion Tips: 1 pie serves 1 person or for 2 orders of "Pie & Mash" serve with 1 order of mashed potatoes
